My dog has brown discharge in his left ear (yeast infection?) and has a few little open sores visible. HELP?

he has previously had yeast infection and using Epi-otic made it go away, but this time it comes back after every time i clean it. is there any good medications i can use to get rid of it? i cant really afford a vet :/
