Sudden Eye trouble, also have other neurological symptoms?

I think what you are experiencing with your eye is called Optic Neuritis. I had this happen to me the summer of 2006. I had pain in my eye whenver I tried to move it and it was like looking through squished up plastic wrap. I had to go to an opthmologist to get this diagnosed and then when on steroids. An ER has to see anyone that wlaks in with or without insurance. I would opt to do that and see if they can put you on a payment plan. It is painful! I wish you luck!
